Czech government scholarships: eligibility for students outside the EU

Application conditions and current sources
The Czech government’s developing-country scholarship call for 2027–2028 accepted applications from 21 August to 30 September 2026. That window is closed as of the review date. Eligibility is limited to the countries and study programmes named in the call; being a non-EU student does not by itself establish eligibility, and Türkiye is not among the listed countries for that call. Check other institutional or bilateral awards separately.
Read the call as an eligibility checklist before collecting certifications or paying application expenses. Check citizenship, the eligible study programme, teaching language, previous qualification and required tests. The application route for a bilateral award or a university scholarship may differ from the government developing-country programme. A general label such as international student or non-EU applicant does not establish entitlement. Record the official opening and closing dates, who submits the application and which documents must be ready at each stage. If the published window has closed, look for a newly announced official call instead of using a copied deadline from a student group. Compare tuition coverage, living support, insurance and the conditions for continuing the award. Keep scholarship selection and immigration permission as separate workstreams.
