Application conditions and current sources

The Czech official study-residence procedure publishes a 60-day processing limit. The clock does not run during a lawful suspension; this is not a guarantee of a decision within 60 calendar days. Application routes, document requirements and registration deadlines differ between a long-term visa, a residence permit and a D/VR entry visa. Keep proof of submission and comply with any written request for additional documents. A universal 30-day grace period must not be assumed.

Prague is one of Europe’s best in public transportation. But as a tourist, it is hard to get a single ticket every time. As an Erasmus student by Litačka The cost of transportation is almost free.

1. Why should you buy a ticket?

Transportation in Prague is incredibly cheap for students under 26 years of age.

  • The cover: It applies to the metro, tram, bus, funnels and even some trains within the city.

2. Application methods: physical card or mobile application?

You no longer need to carry a physical card. You have two options:

  • Option A: PID Lítačka Mobile App (The Most Practical):

    1. App Store or Google Play The PID Download the application.

    2. Create your profile and The ISIC card (or the student certificate you have received from school) upload to the system.

    3. When the student status is approved (usually within a few hours), buy your discount subscription (coupons) through the application.

    4. It is enough to show the QR code in the application.

  • Option B: Physical card (for those who want memory):

    1. The Skoda Palace (Jungmannova 29) or go to the hills at the major metro stations (Mustek, Hlavní nádraží).

    2. Take a passport, a photo of the case and an ISIC card.

3. Critical Point: Activate Student Discount

The most confusion is here. To identify the discharge:

  • If you have the ISIC card: When the ISIC number is entered into the application, the system automatically matches with the student database (dbISIC) in the Czech Republic and defines the discount.

  • If the ISIC card is not yet: With the Czech student certificate (Potvrzení that studio) you need to go to a physical shelf and manually approve it.

4. Prague Tips: “Revizor” (Ticket Controller)

There’s no tournament in Prague, so you can think that “I’m not going to be”. However, civil-dressed ticket controllers (Revizor) can meet at any time.

Attention to: If the subscription is on the phone and the charging is over, the controller will not accept it and cuts the penalty. Be careful with your phone!
