Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.

Search Austria's grants.at database by citizenship, study level and subject rather than assuming one national scholarship fits everyone. OeAD opportunities serve different target groups; research or short-mobility funding may not cover an entire degree. Insurance and accommodation can have to be paid from the grant. Verify duration, covered expenses and any separate application, then build a living-cost budget that remains viable without an unconfirmed award.
