Bosnia & Herzegovina: scholarships and study funding

Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Search Bosnian funding by institution and mobility type, not by a generic country scholarship claim. Džemal Bijedić University's Mostar international office lists routes such as Erasmus+ and CEEPUS separately, with eligibility governed by each network. A semester exchange grant is not funding for an entire degree. Check your home institution's agreement, nomination requirements and coverage, then identify remaining travel, insurance, rent and living expenses in writing.

Build your action plan

Check nationality, residence, degree and subject restrictions for each call.
Compare covered expenses, duration and conditions rather than the headline award alone.
Establish whether funding needs a separate application or nomination.
Do not budget an unconfirmed scholarship as income; reserve cash for travel, deposits and early months.
