Croatia: choosing a university and programme

CliniGA Education editorial teamSources checked:

Choosing a destination takes more than a university name. The award, teaching language, campus, recognition and your intended career must fit together. Use the country-specific distinctions below to build a shortlist from actual programme pages rather than promotional rankings.

Croatia

Use Croatia's official English-taught programme catalogue instead of assuming every department at a university teaches in English. Check degree level, institution and the programme's own page together; Croatian-language and foreign-language routes in the same field may have different requirements. Before choosing Zagreb, Split or Rijeka, compare curricula and compulsory practical work. If a course includes clinical or field placements, ask separately about the language used there.
