France: scholarships and study funding
Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.
France
France Excellence Eiffel nominations are submitted by French higher education institutions, not directly by students. The programme targets master’s and doctoral levels and does not pay tuition; discuss nomination and remaining costs with the institution. Separate full-degree funding from short mobility support. Check nationality, study level, covered costs and renewal conditions in the current call. Count only a confirmed award as income and prepare a workable budget for the possibility that funding is not awarded.
