Ireland: scholarships and study funding

CliniGA Education editorial teamSources checked:

Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.

Ireland

HEA’s Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship targets NFQ levels 9 and 10, not general undergraduate study. Applicants need an eligible admission offer. The official page marks the 2026 call closed; use its conditions for preparation, not as evidence of an open application round. Keep tuition, rent and travel in separate budget lines. Count support as confirmed only after a written award decision, and maintain a workable financing plan if your application is unsuccessful.
