Serbia: scholarships and study funding

CliniGA Education editorial teamSources checked: October 27, 2026

Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.

Serbia

World in Serbia is a government project for selected scholarship holders from eligible countries. Its official description combines Serbian preparation, study, accommodation and meals; it is not automatic funding for every foreign applicant. Separate full-degree funding from short mobility support. Check nationality, study level, covered costs and renewal conditions in the current call. Count only a confirmed award as income and prepare a workable budget for the possibility that funding is not awarded.

Build your action plan

Check nationality, residence, degree and subject restrictions for each call.
Compare covered expenses, duration and conditions rather than the headline award alone.
Establish whether funding needs a separate application or nomination.
Do not budget an unconfirmed scholarship as income; reserve cash for travel, deposits and early months.
