An admission application, academic recognition and permission to stay are different processes. Different institutions may request the same document for different purposes. Begin by identifying the application route that applies to your nationality, residence and previous qualification.

Italian institutions assess foreign qualifications for enrolment themselves. Applicants needing a visa must also follow the relevant Universitaly pre-enrolment and consular process. University validation of pre-enrolment does not guarantee a visa: academic assessment, the visa decision and final enrolment are separate stages. Map each document to its receiving authority, then confirm translations and intake instructions directly. Academic assessment alone is not an admission or immigration decision; clarify how any missing evidence must be supplied.
