Italy: scholarships and study funding

CliniGA Education editorial teamSources checked:

Check eligibility before comparing scholarship amounts. An award may cover tuition, living costs or only a particular mobility period. Admission does not automatically include funding, and a national call may run on a different timetable from university financial support.

Italy

MAECI scholarships for foreign citizens follow the annual call and eligible-country list, with applications through Study in Italy. The checked 2026/27 deadline has passed. An existing information page is not evidence of an open round or full funding for every international applicant. Keep tuition, rent and travel in separate budget lines. Count support as confirmed only after a written award decision, and maintain a workable financing plan if your application is unsuccessful.
