Netherlands: university applications and qualification recognition

CliniGA Education editorial teamSources checked:

An admission application, academic recognition and permission to stay are different processes. Different institutions may request the same document for different purposes. Begin by identifying the application route that applies to your nationality, residence and previous qualification.

Netherlands

Many Dutch programmes start with Studielink registration, but some institutions use a different route for applicants from abroad. Institutions set admission and language-score requirements. Nuffic diploma comparisons support preparation rather than replace the admission decision; separately identify programmes with a selection procedure. Map each document to its receiving authority, then confirm translations and intake instructions directly. Academic assessment alone is not an admission or immigration decision; clarify how any missing evidence must be supplied.
